Connect with Nature
There is no end to what nature can teach us. We must become a student to learn from it and to be able to help it flourish in the urban and suburban environs under our care. In Alchemy, gold is a metaphor for life force, and lead a metaphor for the compost or "prima materia" that can transform seeds into a living garden. Peregrine refers to the ability to connect with this life force across various sites, circumstances, and ecosystems.
ABOUT AMY
Amy Caryn Johnson has a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture.
She grew up on a farm in arid, NE Colorado and starting at age 14, began looking for ways to curate a more native, waterwise, low-maintenance, beautiful landscape, now having done this for more than 30 years.
She is certified with AICP, the American Institute of Certified Planners.
She has a graduate certificate in Geographic Information Systems with a focus on Environmental Analysis and is currently working on a Master's in Adult Education.
She has also completed and passed both the Foundation and Advanced BioGeometry Training with the late Dr. Robert Gilbert.
